Schalke stays successful in the Bundesliga

Gelsenkirchen - Schalke won their home match against 1899 Hoffenbheim by 2-0. With this result, the team of coach Felix Magath stays in the top region of the table. Right now, the Royal blue are on position three in the table, one point ahead to the leader Bayer Munich.

The first goal of the match was scored by Kurany after a nice cross of Rafinha. The second goal was scored in the beginning of the second half by the Schalke younster Lukas Schmitz.

"We played very well, and we did not let the last result influence us. I am very happy about the current situation, and I hope that we stay successful until the end of the season. I was substituted after a little injury, but it was only because we wanted to be cautious. Everything is ok and I think I will play against Freiburg" said Rafinha.

The next Bundesliga match will be against SC Freiburg.
