Rafinhas first appearance for new club
Rafinha celebrated his first appearance for his new team, FC Genoa, on Saturday. Taking part in a friendly tournament, the Brazilian right-back played with his new teammates for the first time. FC Genoa won the first match of the tournament against Esperia, a third division team of Italy, and tied with FC Livorno in the final, which was afterwards decided in a penalty-shoot-out.
"It was a good feeling for me to wear the shirt of my new team for the first time. The matches helped me to learn more about my new teammates. I´m feeling very well here, and I am happy to be in Genoa" explained Rafinha.
"Sadly, we did not win the tournament, but it was a good warm up for the new sesaon. We did not lose a match, and the other teams did not score against us. For me, the most important thing is to find my place in the team" added Rafinha.
