Rafinha happy about victory and contact to the fans
In the first major test of the pre-season, Genoa beat Athletic Bilbao by 1-0. The only goal of the match was scored by the former Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni. Rafinha was very happy about the victory and about the contact with the fans of Genoa FC.
"It was a great experience for all of the players, especially those who arrived here at the beginning of the season. We all enjoyed the contact with the fans. And, what is equally important, we showed a excellent performance" said Rafinha, who expects a good season with his new club.
"This victory showed that we´re on the right way. I am convinced that we will be the surprise of the season in Italy" added the Brazilian right-back.
