Genoa face Udine in season opener
In the first match of the new season of the Italian Seria A, FC Genoa face Udine calcio in Udine. Rafinha, Genoa´s new signing, is happy in Italy and is looking forward to the new challange in Italian football.
"There are many new players here who brought new qualities into the club. Now our focus is to play a successful season. Many experts think that we will be one of the surprises in Italian football, and I think so, too. We are very strong, we did a successful pre-season, and I am convinced that with the new players, we can fight for the Champions-League positions" said Rafinha. "I am looking forward to my debut in Seria A and I like my new city and the country very much. The way of life here is similar to the one in Brazil, so I felt at home the moment I arrived here." added the Brazilian right-defender.
