Genoa win at Udine
Genoa beat Udinese 1 x 0, this Saturday, at the Stadio Friuli, in Udine, for the first round of the Italian Championship. With this result, Genoa reaches its first 3 points of the championship. Mesto scored the victory goal at the 36th minute of the second half.
"I am very happy about the victory in the opener. We´re starting the season now from a good position. Udine is a very good team, so everybody is happy that we beat them. It was a close game with a nice goal" said Rafinha. "I am feeling very good here in Italy, in the city and with my new club".
On the next matchday, Genua face Chievo Verona. The match will take place on Sunday, 12th of September.
